Tuesday, December 31, 2002 :::

The end of a year. It seems as if it was yesterday when 2002 was born and it in now gone. 2002 was expected to be the year when IT became alive and kicking again. It did wake up but is nowhere near kicking :-). Hopefully in 2003, it becomes better and better.

Today being the last day of the year, I wanted to finish the year with something humourous, but still something technical and connected to MS. After some searching of my attic(my hard disk), I found this gem.

How will you react if you get the following error message:

Error Message: Your Password Must Be at Least 18770 Characters and Cannot Repeat Any of Your Previous 30689 Passwords

This is a real error message from an MS product and not something I made up. MS has gracefully confirmed that this is a bug and has fixed it in W2K SP3.
Still not convinced, check out this KB article.

Have a wonderful new year!!!!
